As you can see, I have several Boston babies, but I also have one Great Dane and all the little guys ADORE the big guy. I love all my 4-legged kids to death. I show and breed Bostons (on

Hi! My name is Rachelle (pronouned Ruh-Shell) and I am the proud mommy of 3 Bostons; Aveda, Mac, and Norm. Aveda lives with me full time, Mac lives with my ex (though I do see him as often as possible) and we share custody of Norm, so he's with me part-time. I love all 3 with my whole heart and think that Boston's are the best breed of dog I've ever encountered. By day I'm an employee at Intel in Folsom and by night I'm an MBA student at Keller School of Business. Fortunately, I work from home at least 1 day per week and I am attending classes online, so I'm not away from the kids for too long. :) I'm also really excited to meet other Boston parents and socialize Aveda a bit more. She's very shy since we just had her around her brothers for the most part (I know, bad mom!). I have one Boston (she's all I can handle!) She turned one in June and is the first dog I've ever had. Lulu has been quite a challenge for me...she is extremely high energy and keeps me on my toes.
I always say she only has two speeds, top and drop. Nothing in between. Lulu needs lots of activities to burn up her boundless energy so I always look forward to the other Bostons wearing her out!

Hi Our son started us with Bostons by giving us our first boston which was Dakota a beautiful female which was only 6 weeks old when we got here freshly weened from mom. The when Dakota had her first litter of four we had to keep on which we decided to keep a moose of a Boston which we named Cody. Well, I’ve been a member of the email list here for quite some time now and thought I should make this official. So, here it goes.
Roscoe is our first BT. I’ve never met a funnier, happier, greater animal in my life. We swear he's part human - too smart for his own good (and ours, ha ha) and never fails to make us laugh.
The meetings always seem to fall on weekends when we're out of town or have to work, but have had fun attending in the past and look forward to meeting up again soon. On our first visit, we let Roscoe off his lead and he wandered into the crowd of other BT's and I had a panic attack; They all looked the same! Well…..'cept for the fact that ours is 36 lbs.!
We're looking to find another addition to our "family" - hopefully sometime in the summer/fall of 07. We'd preferably like to find a brindle/white male, but we'll know the right dog once we meet him (or her). I've always loved Boston Terriers! They have great energy and an adorable face. In November I was finally able to get one of my own. Rocco was 8 weeks old when I got him and although he doesn't have the "show" markings, I love his originality! We just adopted our very first Boston last month after losing our 11 year old baby girl, Roxie, the most loyal Boxer in the world. Dana and I have a total of six dogs. Bean is the only Boston Terrorist as we can only have one BT under 3 years because the are clearly insane. Bean has one "sister", Harley - the toy Fox Terrier, and four "brothers", Billy - the Beagle, Louis and Leroy - the Chihuahua's, and Dexter - the Daschund. Harley, Dexter, and Leroy are rescues that adopted us to complete our wonderful pack! We recently moved to Sacramento from South Bend, Indiana and our two BTs probably coped with the moved better than we did!
Gidget is 6 and loves to be in charge. She definitely thinks she's the BIG dog, until she gets off the leash... then she "frogs" out and is very submissive. Peanut is 2 and still a puppy at heart. She loves to play, but when things get really active, she'll find somewhere else to be for a while.

Our first dog Sandy, a Staff Terrier mix, was adopted from the SPCA, she was a year an half when we first got her. Soon after we decided to add another dog to our family as a companion for Sandy and thats when our Boston Peako came into our lives. Peako is defiantly high energy and was more challenging to housebreak than we were hoping, was expensive too with the walls and carpeting he destroyed. We were truly not ready, but we managed. Peako is currently 3 years old and has been a bundle of energy and a joy to have. Despite the size differences between the two they have become very close, Peako has held up well with the big dogs just as I was told he would.
