Just this side of heaven is a place
called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to
someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are
meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they
can run and play together. There is plenty of food,
water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and
comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to
health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made
whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our
dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy
and content, except for one small thing; they each miss
someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes
when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His
bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly
he begins to run from the group, flying over the green
grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special
friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous
reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain
upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved
head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of
your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent
from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

In loving memory of Bella Mia
4/11/96 - 9/1/08
We are all blessed for having known her.
In the beginning,
it was just Mia and me, moving across the
country, traveling here and there, on airline or
by car. In the end, we were back in California,
but were now a family of four humans and Mia,
and, much to her dismay, this young
whippersnapper named Maisy. Of course, as with
everyone, there were many happenings in the
middle, too many to mention. The most important
part is that she met no person that she did not
like, and lived her life to be with her family.
She will be remembered as the sweetest dog in
the world, and the best dog we will ever have.
We miss you, Super Meems!

In loving memory of Mindy 05/20/90 -
09/02/05 Always in our hearts
Mindy came to
live with me at 8 month old, she had already
been mistreated. She was a little shy and
withdrawn until my husband came into our lives.
For the first time in 2 years Mindy wagged her
tail, it was one of the happiest moments in her
life that I can remember. Mindy always wanted to
please us. She grew to be the most loving & kind
dog we've ever had. We had 15 wonderful years
with her. Mindy was my first Boston and will
always have a special place in our hearts. We
miss her very much and are thankful for all the
time we had with her.

If you have a special Boston that is no longer with us,
it would truly be our honor to post their picture and a
little write-up about them. Please send any
info/picture you’d like to share to
Ronda.
